My Business Ideas

When thinking of the scope and domain of a business idea, the first issue that one would run into is deciding how big the project domain could be or how specific you want it to be. For me, I would prefer to focus on a specific niche and do an above average job in that instead of focusing on something that is already very big and doing an average or below average job at that. Here are the 3 business ideas that I currently have:

  1. Video game café -  Borrowing the idea from Korean culture of PC cafés a.k.a. PC bang, I think starting something similar here would be a good idea because coffee and food is something that goes well while doing other activities as well, which in this case is playing video games. Although it wouldn't be restricted to just PC games, there would be Xbox/Playstation setup as well, along with serving food/coffee.
  2. VR play room - I don’t know if something similar already exists but with virtual reality blowing up, all the possibilities of what we can accomplish with the VR technology are rapidly expanding. So, setting up a place to do cool things in the VR world with your friends kind of like the arcade game stations but with virtual reality of course instead of the arcade games
  3. Food Macros Watch/App - People are getting more and more health conscious everyday and those that truly want to enjoy the lifestyle of healthy living by either getting on a specific diet or just keeping track of what they eat throughout the day, could really benefit from this App/Watch. I'm not certain if it would be better as an individual watch, App, or perhaps an Apple Watch App. But the idea is, the App will have access to your location so anytime you eat outside it could pull up the menu which would let you select the particular meal that you ordered from the restaurant accessed via your location. Since most restaurants have nutritional information on their food online, it wouldn't be a problem to calculator calories for that particular meal, or if possible calculate the specific Nutritional Macro that it fits into for each day i.e. Amount of protein, carbohydrates, fats, etc.
